Sara Beheshti practices real estate law, estate planning and estate administration in Toronto, Ontario.

Sara’s services include estate and trust planning, incapacity planning and estate administration. Sara also advises executors, beneficiaries and trustees on their rights and obligations in estate administrations, probate applications and the passing of accounts.

Sara also acts on the purchase and sale of commercial and residential properties, as well as private and institutional mortgage transactions. She advises clients on agreements of purchase and sale, loan agreements, mortgage documents, condominium disclosure statements and status certificates.

Sara Beheshti is frequently retained by other lawyers to advise on real estate law and provide services including conveyancing, title fraud prevention, and registration of charges, notices, cautions, court orders and certificates of pending litigation.

Sara has broad litigation experience and assists senior litigators in complex civil, estate and real estate disputes. She has worked on disputes involving condominium disclosure documents, builder agreements, solicitor negligence claims, trustee duties and contract enforcement. Litigation services include preparing opinions, facta, briefs and pleadings, and appearing in trials, motions, settlement conferences, discoveries and mediations.

Sara has been a member of the OBA Real Property Section Executive since 2013, and currently serves as Vice-Chair. Sara has been a member-at-large of the OBA Trusts and Estates Section Executive since 2014.

Sara Beheshti founded her firm in 2010, after articling at RBC Insurance. Sara has a J.D. and a B.A. in French Literature from the University of Toronto, and a Diplôme d’Etudes de Civilisation Française from the Sorbonne in Paris.
